Get Growing at Home!

Our plant deliveries to local people have been a huge success so we’re moving on to vegetable grow kits so everyone can have a go at growing something at home.

Our beautiful community allotment is slowly taking shape again, despite the lock down! We have been clearing and tidying and now planting is beginning fully. A huge thank you to Paul O’Halloran, Molly and Jayden for all the amazing work you’ve all done getting the garden ready!

Although the allotment is currently closed for sessions, we are working to make sure that once we come out of lockdown we can welcome you all to join us in the garden and hopefully we can have a few parties too!

In the meantime, we want to support you to get involved in growing vegetables at home, so you can enjoy all the benefits of growing some of your own food! I have been putting together some ‘vegetable grow kits’ which will give you all you need to get started.

Initially there will be 20 indoor kits and 30 outdoor kits available. I can make up more if needed so get your request in!

A small pot for sunflower seeds
Enough compost to fill the containers
Instruction sheet

The kits cost us £6.50 each to produce but we are only asking for a donation of whatever you can afford. As with the plant deliveries you will get a text before your kit arrives so you can pop your donation in a sealed envelope or ziplock bag and leave it on your front step under a stone or pot.

You can place your order now at the bottom of this page and deliveries will start from week commencing 18th May.
